先住民とLGBTQ+

インド・パキスタン・バングラデシュのヒジュラー（हिजड़ा Hijḍā, Hijra）は比較的著名なLGBTの集団であ るが、その他の先住民におけるLGBTQ+の存在の報告は少ない。

"Hijras are officially recognized as third gender in countries in the Indian subcontinent,[5][6] being considered neither completely male nor female. Hijras have a recorded history in the Indian subcontinent from antiquity onwards as suggested by the Kama Sutra period."- Hijras.

Pie de Pagina によるメキシコのアムスゴのZacualpanは、女性が着用するカラフルなウィピル（貫頭衣）で著名なコミュニティであるが、そこに生活しているLGBTQ +の存在をレポートしたものは貴重なもののひとつである。
