●出自の定義

出自（descent）とは、父母のうち自己がどの親族集団に所属し、財産や地位の相続継承を決める際の論理である。

出自には大きく、単系出自と多系出自に分類できる。

1.　単系出自（unilineal descent）

1.1　父系出自（patrilineal descent）：全体の44%を占める（めやす）

1.2　母系出自（matrilineal descent）：　　　15%

1.3　双系出自（bilineal descent）／二重出自（double descent）

　　　　　母系［牛の相続］と父系［土地の相続］の帰属や継承が同時に存在する

1.4　平行出自（parallel descent）；男は父系、女は母系

1.5　選系出自（ambilineal descent）；各自が父系・母系を選択可能

2.　多系出自（multilineal descent）／双方的bilateral／共系的cognatic

　　　　自己より上の代にあるすべての個人を通じて出自をたどる

　lineage：単系集団で各メンバーのあいだの系譜関係が具体的にたどれるもの

　clan：単系集団が巨大化し、メンバーが互いに系譜関係をたどることができず、ただ漠然とお互いが単系で結びつき、同じ祖先から出てい るらしいという意識をもっている。

■トーテミズム（totemism）

　ある集団では、祖先崇拝がおこなわれ、祖先に対する神話を共有する。その祖先が動物であり、その動物を殺したり食べたりすることへのタ ブーがある場合

●外婚制（exogamy）

"Exogamy is the social norm of marrying outside one's social group. The group defines the scope and extent of exogamy, and the rules and enforcement mechanisms that ensure its continuity. One form of exogamy is dual exogamy, in which two groups engage in continual wife exchange./ In social science, exogamy is viewed as a combination of two related aspects: biological and cultural. Biological exogamy is marriage of nonblood-related beings, regulated by forms of incest law. Cultural exogamy is marrying outside a specific cultural group; the opposite being endogamy, marriage within a social group."- Exogamy.

●内婚制（endogamy）

"Endogamy is the practice of marrying within a specific social group, caste, or ethnic group, rejecting those from others as unsuitable for marriage or other close personal relationships. Endogamy is common in many cultures and ethnic groups. Several religious and ethnic religious groups are traditionally more endogamous, although sometimes with the added dimension of requiring marital religious conversion. This permits an exogamous marriage, as the convert, by accepting the partner's religion, becomes accepted within the endogamous rules. Endogamy, as distinct from consanguinity, may result in transmission of genetic disorders, the so-called founder effect, within the relatively closed community." - Endogamy.

［復習］集団内部での婚姻が禁止され、外部との婚姻が義務づけられる

再婚の様式：レヴィレート婚とソロレート婚

　レヴィレート婚（levirate）＝兄弟逆縁婚　levir 兄弟（ラ）

夫が死んだ後に、その妻が夫の兄弟と再婚する［ことが優先あるいは義務づけ］

　ソロレート婚（sororate）＝姉妹逆縁婚　soror 姉妹（ラ）

　　妻が死んだ後に、その夫が妻の姉妹と再婚する［ことが優先あるいは義務づけ］

冥婚・幽霊婚・位牌婚（婚姻関係の拡張／見えない結婚相手？）

　位牌婚（解放前の中国伝統社会・台湾）

　　未婚のまま亡くなった女性と生きている男性を結婚させ、後に男性は生きている女性と結婚し、できた息子のうちの一人が位牌婚の妻の「子 供」として、亡き女性を祭る。

　冥婚／幽霊婚（ghost marriage）

ヌエル族（ナイル河上流）：未婚のまま亡くなった男性のために、生きている女性と正式に結婚する。女性は、別の生きている男性 （geniter）と生活するが、できた子供は亡き男を法的父親（peter）とする。

●選系的出自集団というものがある

出自は、父系出自と母系出自に大きくわけられるが、選好できるという、選系的出自集団（ramages）というものがある。
