Course Name: Art of Collaboration A: An Inquiry for neo-Action Research
Language of the Course: Jap.
Type of Class: Seminar subject
Course Objective:
These classes consider the theory and practice of action research and
about what final products this research produces. The objective of the
classes is to consider action research from various different angles.
Learning Goals:
1. To understand the characteristics of action
research and to be able to give an explanation to other people (fellow
students) on the differences between action research and other research
(investigation) and on the advantages and disadvantages of each.
2. To be able to give a simple definition of action
research. Also, to be able to explain to others about what social
contexts action research is possible in and about what kinds of outcome
can be obtained.
3. Specifically, to be able to develop action
research and find the groups to be the target of it and to be able to
explain to others what kind of approach would be necessary for it to be
action research and about the possibilities and limitations of action
research.
Requirement / Prerequisite:
These are participation type classes, so a condition for taking the
course is to attend each session and to actively collaborate with the
other students, who will all be strangers to each other.
