Nolan's chart
ノーラン・チャートあるいはノーランの図式（Nolan Chart）とは、アメリ カ・リバタリアン政党の創設者であったディビッド・ノーラン（David Nolan, 1943-2010）が1996年頃から使い始めたもので、経済的自由を求める右派と個人的自由を求める左派のそれぞれの軸と、権威主義（あるいはポピュ リズム）あるいは「権威志向」と「自由放任（リバタリアン）」からなる組み合わせで、それぞれ「リベラル」と「保守」の性向をあらわせ、その中間の集団を 「中道」と、全部で５タイプの政治的オリエンテーションを描写している。
