Poietic Ontology

「製作（ポイエーシス）という関わり合いの動性において作られたもの、作られることによって、それを使用しようとする傾向にとって利用できる状態になったもの、これが〔アリストテレスの言う〕存在するものなのである。在る、存在するとは、製作されているの謂いなのであり、製作されたものであるかぎりにおいて、ある特定の関わり合いの傾向から見て重要なもの、利用できるものの謂いである。存在者が目配りの対象であるか、あるいはさらにもっぱら注視することによる把握の対象であるかぎり、存在者はその見相（エイドス）を望み見つつそれに照らして言明される。注視による把握は、言明と論述（レゲイン）とによって、自ら自身を明確なものへと顕在化させる。対象に対してそれが「何である」と言明するその「何」（ロゴス）と対象の「見相」（エイドス）とはある意味では同一である。このことはしかし、ロゴスにおいて言明されるものそれ自体が本来的に存在するものである、ということを意味する。語ること［レゲイン］は、対象を言明することで、存在者をそれの見相が示す在りよう（存在性＝ウーシア）において真実化し保存する。ウーシアとはしかし、元来、家産、所有資産、まわりの世界において使用に供しうるものという意味をもっており、この意味がアリストテレスやさらに彼以後においても、なお命脈を保っている。ウーシアとは資産・持ちものを意味するのだ。存在者との関わり合いにおいて、その存在として真実化され〔保存され）ることになるのは、／またその存在者を資産・持ちものとして性格づけるのは、それが製作されているという在り方にほかならない。関わり合いの対象は、製作されることによってその見相を得るのである」（ハイデガー 2008:53-54）

Poiesis (ποίησις, pronunciado «poíesis») es un término griego que significa «creación» o «producción», derivado de ποιέω poieō , «hacer» o «crear». Platón define en El banquete el término poiesis como «la causa que convierte cualquier cosa que consideremos de no-ser a ser». Se entiende por poiesis todo proceso creativo. Es una forma de conocimiento y también una forma lúdica: la expresión no excluye el juego.

"Whereas Plato, according to the Timaeus, regards physis as the result of poiesis, viz. the poiesis of the demiurge (デミウルゴス) who creates from ideas, Aristotle considers poiesis as an imitation of physis. In short, the form or idea, which precedes the physis, contrasts with the living, which is the innate principle or form of self-motion. In other words, the technomorphic paradigm contrasts with the biomorphic; the theory of nature as a whole with the theory of the living individual."

"Martin Heidegger refers to it as a 'bringing-forth' (physis as emergence), using this term in its widest sense. He explained poiesis as the blooming of the blossom, the coming-out of a butterfly from a cocoon, the plummeting of a waterfall when the snow begins to melt. The last two analogies underline Heidegger's example of a threshold occasion: a moment of ecstasis when something moves away from its standing as one thing to become another. (These examples may also be understood as the unfolding of a thing out of itself, as being discloses or gathers from nothing [thus nothing is thought also as being]). Additional example: The night gathers at the close of day"
