講義題目／Course Name	異文化理解（文化と政治）	Understanding other culture: Culture and Politics
授業の目的と概要／Course Objective	こ の授業は文化人類学からみた、文化と政治についてまなびます。とりわけ、差別され抑圧されてきた歴史をもつ先住民表象の復権、男女のジェンダーをめぐる本 質的定義と社会構築的定義のせめぎ合い、文化現象の記述をめぐる世界政治などについて、翻訳を含む日本語文献を中心に課題を読解と、グループワークによる 議論を通して学びます。	We will present you an introduction to culture and politics from anthropological perspective for both under- and graduate students. We take a standardized teaching protocol for understanding culture and politics borrowed from Japanese text books by use of case discussion method. We welcome for not only graduate students of liberal arts and humanities but also for students from all the faculties of science, technology, and inter-/trans-disciplinary sciences.
学習目標／Learning Goals	1. 学生は課題文献の読解および関連情報の収集を通して、議論に参加し、文化と政治について学ぶことができる。 ２．文化と政治に関する論争を理解することで、「文化と政治」の結びつきについて、授業を学ぶ以前にも増して、理解を深めることができる。 ３．文化と政治に関する調査や研究に関する具体的な調査計画を立案することができるまでの、理論や方法論の基礎を学ぶ。	1. Students can understand about typical issues on culture and politics by participating with case studies conferences. 2. Through considering on various cases of the debates in research contexts the students can elaborate and understand about the meaning of "culture and politics." 3. Students can write concrete research proposal with the theme on culture and politics even though that students' plans would be virtual or planned in near future.
